Kids
Kingdom Kids runs every Sunday at 9:15 and 10:45 a.m. Both hours
offer Bible related and age appropriate fun and activities for kids
1st to 4th grade. During the 9:15 hour, kids come together again to
review the lesson and then break out into classrooms for an even
deeper look into the morning's topic. The 10:45 hour is a large group
time with worship, a lesson, group competitions, communion and
offering, and a small group break out time where kids share prayer
requests and dig a little bit deeper into the lesson. "T-Time" is a
fun transition time in between hours where kids can play different
games, fellowshipping with other kids and sponsors.

Pre-K
Kids from 2 years to Kindergarten enjoy their own time both hours
Sunday mornings in the preschool wing. There preschoolers will learn
the basic Biblical truths that shape their lives and have time to play
with other kids their age in a positive and caring environment.
Live Wire
"Live Wire" is our Sunday morning 5th and 6th grade program. This
program was created to give a biblical perspective to the unique needs
and issues that our pre-teens are facing today. The 9:15 hour consists
of a large group time with worship and a lesson. At 10:45, they break
out into boys' and girls' classes to dig deeper into the day's topic.
Nursery
A quality and caring nursery is staffed and available for children
2 years and under during both hours Sunday mornings and also during
Common Ground Sunday Evenings.
Other Child and Parent Related Programs
This group meets on the first Wednesday of every month during the
school year. This ministry focuses on meeting the needs of mothers of
preschoolers through fellowship, specials, speakers, fun crafts, and
refreshments. There is also a children’s program offered at this time
called Moppets where preschoolers will learn their own Bible lesson,
do a craft, and have snack time lead by caring and nurturing adults.
Moms Morning Out
Every Tuesday and Thursday morning from 8:45 to 12:45 childcare is
provided for children ages 5 and under. This gives moms a chance to
get out and have a morning to herself. Kids will be cared for in a
positive and encouraging setting and given the opportunity to learn
Bible stories and play with other children.
Play Group
Calvary Christian Church's playgroup meets on the second and fourth
Wednesdays of each month from 9:30 - 11:30 a.m. They rotate locations
- sometimes meeting in homes, other times meeting in parks or going on
field trips. It is a very casual, informal group where our children
can get together to play while the grown-ups visit and build
friendships with other parents who hold similar values in regards to
our belief in Christ and the desire to raise Christian children.
Dandelion Pre-School
Calvary offers a morning or an afternoon pre-school class on
Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from September to May. This program
is not only to prepare children for kindergarten, but also to help
students grow in and learn about God’s creation and His love for them.
In class they work on a variety of different skills including self
help, communication, cognitive, and motor skills.
One Voice
One Voice is a children’s choir that meets on Sunday evenings. Kids
come together to learn songs that they perform throughout the
community in care homes and other places. This is a great ministry for
kids to get involved in.
